May I be able to move beyond my restrictions and live my life for joy
Bring mirth and contentment into my heart to ward off all my sorrows
Lord of Celebration, who shows us all the bliss in carefree festivities
Aid me in bringing these principles into all areas of my life
Teach me to be selfish when I need to, and generous when I can
Teach me moderation, but grant me also times of revelry
Dionysos, Ivy-crowned God of Wine, bless me with your wisdom
Guide me, fulfill my prayers, and allow me to live my life for me
